The Lumark knee support is an anatomically shaped cooling sleeve for the knee joint that combines cold therapy with individually adjustable compression. The cooling gel packs are cooled, inserted into the support and the desired compression pressure is set using the integrated hand pump. The result: uniform cooling and targeted pressure on the knee joint - without electricity or external devices.
The Lumark knee support is available in one size and can be individually adjusted thanks to the adjustable straps and compression using a hand pump. It fits most knee sizes in adults. For special anatomical requirements, we recommend consulting our sales department before purchasing.
After complete cooling (at least 2 hours), the cold packs retain the cold for a medically recommended application cycle of approx. 20 minutes. The packs can then be cooled down again and prepared for the next cycle (after a 10-minute break). For longer application sessions, we recommend alternating between two sets.
The bandage can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or a mild detergent. Please do not wash in the washing machine or tumble dry. Clean the cool packs separately according to the instructions. Allow the bandage to dry completely before the next use.
Both the bandage and the cool packs are designed for unlimited repeated use. There is no fixed maximum number of applications. Simply freeze the cool packs again after each use. The system is designed for durability and daily use.
The knee support (item no. MD00805 / 18803) comes with 2 specially adapted cooling gel packs. These are leak-proof, made of non-toxic gel and adapted to the anatomical shape of the knee support. We recommend using only the original Lumark cooling packs.

The exact timing is determined by the attending physician or physiotherapist. In many cases, cold therapy is recommended in the first few days after the operation in order to control swelling at an early stage. Do not apply to open wounds or fresh surgical scars.

The Lumark knee support is particularly suitable for: Knee sprains and bruises, strains and overuse injuries, ligament irritation (e.g. inner or outer ligament), swelling after intensive training or competition and for regeneration in cases of osteoarthritis irritation. Not suitable for open wounds or suspected bone fractures - in these cases, seek medical help immediately.
The PECH rule is the tried and tested first aid treatment for acute sports injuries: Rest, ice, compression, elevation.
